New York City office of emergency management (OEM) has some job descriptions in order to do its job to supervise and evaluate the plans of City’s emergency management from all agencies. To do all of these jobs, OEM keeps up a disciplined division of emergency management staffs, including responders, planners, work supervisors, and managerial and support personnel, to recognize and react to an assortment of risks.

What is EOC? EOC stands for City’s Emergency Operations Center. It is a center where all federal agencies of New York City office of emergency management together with city and state agencies join the discussion to follow up the responses toward the disasters and emergencies which sometimes are considered as complex responses.
